6 Month Services

Coolant System: Completely drain the tank; remove all sludge, chips, and oil before refilling with fresh coolant.

Hydraulic System: Drain the hydraulic tank and replace the fluid; replace both the line and suction filters.

Chuck & Jaws: Remove the chuck and jaws from the spindle for a thorough manual cleaning and inspection.

Lubrication: Drain and replace coolant, hydraulic oil, and Way Lubricant fluids.

Leveling: Check the machine for level and squareness using precision tools; adjust as needed.

Way Wipers: Inspect all wipers for tears or chip buildup; clean or replace damaged ones to protect the guideways.

Radiator/Fans: Clean the radiator fins and electrical cabinet air filters to ensure proper cooling.

Table & Bearing Maintenance: Inspect the table bearing oil level and check for contaminants; clean the table's "tee" slots and center hole.

Crossrail Inspection: Clean and lubricate the crossrail elevation screws and nuts; check for even travel.

Annual Services

Spindle & Headstock: Check the spindle for radial and end play; inspect the headstock for taper.

Run a backlash program to check and adjust the X and Z axis backlash.
